Rooms at Cawdor

Cawdor Llandeilo

Welcome to The Cawdor Llandeilo

We’re opening on 16th July!

It seems a lifetime since we had to temporarily close our doors, but we are now reopening our rooms and we will be taking reservations for 16th July onwards.

The bar and restaurant will have to stay closed for the time being but we will offer room service for breakfast, dinner and drinks.

Our outside seating areas will be open both at the front of the hotel and in the courtyard. We are taking reservations for both lunch and dinner. We will offer a smaller menu than usual until our inside spaces open, but you can be assured that our food will be as delicious as always!

The kitchen is open and we are offering our Cawdor@home takeaway service on Fridays Saturdays and for Sunday Lunch.

You can be assured of the highest standards of cleanliness with our enhanced cleaning protocols and training to protect the safety of both our guests and staff.

We very much look forward to welcoming you to the Cawdor this summer.

The Cawdor is a great little hotel set in the heart of the historic market town of Llandeilo. Every bedroom is individually designed blending classic comforts with modern essentials.

Llandeilo is a handsome little market town to the east of Carmarthen. As you approach the River Tywi and the Llandeilo stone bridge (built 1848), you will see the multi-coloured Edwardian and Georgian houses that line the street on the entrance to the town.

The Cawdor is thrilled to be named in the 'Sunday Times Travel' in the top 100 best hotels in Britain.

It’s hard to miss the bright red exterior of this 18th-century hotel in the market town of Llandeilo. Inside, things are more understated, a mix of old-world charm and modern comforts: inviting sofas in the reception, an open fire and a glass of a local tipple await. Leather sofas and vintage photographs documenting the hotel’s heritage are found in the bar, which is a honeypot for locals at weekends...  Click here to read More...
