In the community of Llanwrda so also known as, or recorded in historical documents as Llanwrda Castle all that remains of Glan Mynys is a flat topped mound. Traces of a ditch have been claimed, but not of any subsidiary works, some think it may be a natural mound, but the site is scheduled as a motte.
